* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low-lying areas unprotected by levees begin
to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday
evening and continue rising to a crest of 21.6 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
